Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HPC network fabric and data centre switching infrastructure, ensuring performance and reliability
• Manage network configuration, monitoring, backups, and capacity/utilisation reporting
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across Layer 2/3, routing, and switching environments
• Support SDN, firewall, and VPN administration to ensure secure and stable operations
• Work closely with system, storage, and security teams to optimise overall cluster performance
• Participate in on-call rotation to support critical network incidents and escalations
• Maintain network documentation, runbooks, and change records in line with ITIL practices

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in network support, monitoring, or troubleshooting within enterprise or HPC environments
• Hands-on experience with data centre networking, SDN, firewalls, and VPN technologies
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
• Familiar with network monitoring tools and able to troubleshoot effectively under pressure
